Hybrid healthcare
for the eldery

New approach to effective and necessary
care for the elderly.

Patient focused approach in telemedicine and eHealth is one of Telemedi’s core ideals that we have applied since our very beginning 8 years ago, hence our constant care for the quality of our medical service and the patient’s rating. To promote this obsession about great eHealth services we released a “Hybrid healthcare for the elderly” report where we described different methodologies, tactics and knowledge that will improve the way we approach elder patients.

We’ve joined forces with other companies that share our values in this approach to be able to raise this topic and motivate other medical services and technology providers to focus on a patient-centric approach in telemedicine and eHealth. In this report we combined the experience on this subject with Microsoft and Nationale-Nederlanden to be able to provide a top-quality report on the patient-focus journey in the elder patients.

Along this report we adressed relevant aspects of the technological environment surrounding telemedicine and eHealth, supporting it by data driven information, while always keeping the patient’s needs in the center of the medical service provided.

This report will also point out practical implications, benefits, and improvements we can achieve for the patients due to technological improvement and a complete approach focused on their needs. Hence, we can understand that artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied with hybrid healthcare system and remote monitoring of patients, for example we could have a remote monitoring system that will automatically pass through an AI software and notify doctors while doing a pre-classification of the patients between teleconsultation or stationary visit, therefore, reducing doctor’s workload and enhancing efficiency while making the technology easy to the patient and improving the result.
